Located upstairs from Chocolate, Lounge is an after-party hang out spot for young locals that want to keep partying in a more relaxed environment after other bars have closed. Lounge is small, has only one bar, but allows access into Chocolate, which is kind of a two-for-one deal. It is not strange to see people still mingling almost until dawn. Lounge seems to have a seasonal popularity, so it is generally a hit or miss when trying to guess whether it will be at capacity or not. Regardless, it is always a good option for a relaxing, post-party hangout.
Lounge is a cozy space, with almost all the walls lined with sofas and pillows. One might even think that all the coziness would make patrons want to go to sleep. The ceiling is low, the lighting is dim, and decor features paintings and pictures from local artists. Music features popular house music and lounge music, the volume set a little lower than Chocolate, so patrons have a better chance of chatting without losing their voice. On some weekends, patrons might even run into some of the bands that play live music at other bars unwinding at Lounge, which runs well into the first hours of the next day.
